The local forecast up until 1800hr on Tuesday 13th November 2018

You don't need me to tell you that it has been mild over the past week, with temperatures by day averaging 13C, more than 2C warmer than we might expect at this time of year in our region.

Well it's going to turn even milder by the end of this week, with 16C possible by Thursday, before it turns cooler over the weekend, and quite chilly next week. The good news is that it should be dry for much of the rest of November!

Although there has been an odd early shower around our region first thing on Monday, it should be mainly dry and bright today, with the worst of any showers out to our west, though some may break through the sheltering effect of the Birmingham Plateau. It will be mild but breezy with highs around 13C.

Any showers should clear this evening, with the cloud melting away, to allow minima to fall to 6C overnight into Tuesday, with a bright dawn tomorrow morning.

So Tuesday is looking breezy mild and dry with sunny spells, lifting temperatures to 14C by afternoon.

Outlook; very mild by day after midweek, but with mist/fog at night as the breeze falls lighter.
