A bright, dry start to the day, then increasing amounts of cloud through the morning with the chance of some scattered showers in the north and west. Remaining rather cloudy through the afternoon with patchy light rain at times. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
Staying rather cloudy but becoming drier, although perhaps some spells of light rain and fog over the Staffordshire Peaks. Clear spells may develop through the small hours for dawn. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Some bright or sunny spells may occur at times but generally quite a cloudy day, with some spells of light rain or drizzle possible, mainly over high ground. Mild. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Often fairly cloudy with patchy light rain possible, particularly over hills. Some sunny spells, especially in the east. Fog possible overnight. Warmer.
